Nissan Terrano Overview
Nissan Terrano has been around for a while in India and came as a premium alternative to the Renault Duster which has been singlehandedly taking the company to higher positions. Nissan Terrano is finally going to receive a facelift and will be sporting cosmetic changes to the exteriors as well as interiors. As the changes are not radical, the prices are supposed to stay same as earlier and expect it to be priced from INR 9.95 lakh to 14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

As mentioned above the changes won’t be extreme but will comprise of a slightly revised chrome grille which is flanked by down pointing headlamps while the bumper sports minute changes in its comparison. Towards the sides, it gets new diamond cut alloy wheels, roof rails and rear end will come with redesigned bumpers and new taillights.
Nissan Terrano 2017 Facelift Interiors
The interiors don’t get as many changes as one would expect and comprise of addition of touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, Bluetooth, AUX and USB, newly designed steering wheel, new premium upholstery and lots of cubby holes. Over that it gets a new instrument console, cruise control, ABS as standard across the range, dual airbags and speed sensing door locks. In terms of space and comfort it will be very similar to the existing model Terrano.
Nissan Terrano 2017 Facelift Engine Specifications
The engine will remain same and will comprise of 1.6 litre, 4-cylinder petrol motor which churns out 102.5 bhp of power with 145 Nm of torque while the 1.5 litre diesel is available in two states of tuning. One is able to generate 84 bhp with 200 nm of torque the other state of tuning piles on 109 bhp with 248 Nm of torque. The transmission duties in the petrol are handled by 5-speed manual whereas on the diesel it gets a 6-speed manual. Nissan recently introduced a new 6-speed Easy-R AMT transmission as well which will be available on petrol as well as diesel engine.

The petrol engine offers a company rated mileage of 13 kmpl whereas the 1.5 litre diesel delivers 19 kmpl of fuel economy.
Nissan Terrano 2017 Facelift Launch date, price and competition
The Nissan Terrano is set to launch on 27th March, 2017 and will be priced at INR 10 lakh to INR 15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The competition of the vehicle comes from Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and Honda BR-V.
