However, the automaker introduced the second generation California by christening it with suffix T along with all-new Twin-Tubo 3.9-litre V8 engine.

Bagging inspirations from 1957 250 California, the Ferrari California comes with sleek aerodynamic design which seems to similar to the rest of the current models in the lineup along with host of signature Ferrari styling design. The overall design of the sports car which is enhanced by the sleek ally swept bonnet, the compact tail and the pulled-back cabin flaunts the overall silhouette of the car. The grille and slender air vents at the centre of the bonnet has borrowed characters from the 250 GT California. The rear end seems to be muscular and gets single round LED taillights that highlight the overall appearance of the profile. The engine is also mated to a dual clutch seven-speed gear box. As far as the performance is concerned, the Ferrari California can easily sprint to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds prior attaining the top speed of 315 kmph.

Talking about the price point, the second generation of California is offered in the Indian market – California T which is retailed at INR 3.37 crore (ex-showroom) and competes against Aston Martin DB9 Volante and the Audi R8 Spyder.
