Talking about the engine, Zest is available in both petrol and diesel engines, the petrol engine is equipped with 1.2-litre Revotron engine which can produce the max power of 88.73 BHP and 140 NM of torque while diesel engine, while diesel engine is powered by 1.3 litre Multijet engine to make 88.73 BHP and 200 NM of torque. Both the engine is available with 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The petrol engine of Zest can give the mileage of 18 KMPL while diesel can deliver 23KMPL of mileage.

Earlier Tata Motors has announced the 6 year warranty on the purchase of Tata Zest, according to the sources, this six year warranty will be included in the price of the car and the first three years will be the standard warranty and an extended warranty will cover the next three years.
