Tata Tigor launch is just a few days away and the bookings have already commenced. Tigor is the new compact sedan from Tata and is based on the same IMPACT design philosophy which the Tiago is also based upon. So before its launch here are all the details that have been revealed.
Tata Tigor Exteriors Features
On the outside, Tigor comes with smoked projector headlamps, fog lamps, power folding ORVMs with integrated blinkers along with 14/15 inch alloy wheels with the rear end showing off the wraparound LED taillights.
Tata Tigor Interior Features
The cabin is similar to the Tiago which was a nice place to be in and Tigor still comes with Harman touchscreen infotainment system with 8 speakers, AUX, USB and Bluetooth. The dual pod digital MID instrument cluster comes with clock, dual tripmeter, real time fuel economy, average fuel consumption and more while the three spoke steering wheel and seats are all finished in black. Tigor, as expected can hold 419 litres of luggage in its boot.
Tata Tigor Petrol Engine Specifications
The petrol engine on the Tigor is a 1.2 litre, three cylinder Revotron unit which puts out 83 bhp @ 6000 rpm of power along with 114 Nm of torque @ 3500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The mileage is around 23 kmpl from petrol unit.
Tata Tigor Diesel Engine Specifications
The diesel motor is a 1.03 litre, 3-cylinder which churns out 69 bhp of power with 140 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties are handled by 5-speed manual gearbox. The mileage of the vehicle is expected to be around 27 kmpl.
Tata Tigor Safety Features
Tata’s new safety first approach is commendable and Tigor comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, 3-point ELR seatbelt, speed sensing door locks and central locking.
