Tata Motors has finally raised the curtains off its all new sub-compact SUV, the Nexon at the ongoing 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle was unveiled alongside the homegrown automaker’s all new sports car, RACEMO and its new compact sedan, the Tigor. Now, according to sources, it is believed that the Nexon is to arrive in India sometime during the month of July this year.
The Nexon is the result of Tata Motor’s IMPACT design philosophy. Up-front its gets the automaker’s Humanity line upper grille sitting on either side of which are projector headlamps and LED DRLs. On the side on it to find 17-inch alloy wheels, bold character lines while the rear facia gets a compact yet contemporary look.

Ergonomically placed bottle and cup holders, multiple utility spaces, handbag hangers, laptop & iPad trays to ensure hassle free long journeys and city drives. The Nexon comes with an advanced infotainment system, featuring a dash-top touchscreen exclusively designed by HarmanTM, a comprehensive speaker system for surround sound effect and intelligent features such as voice command recognition. Talking about the engine specifications, the Nexon is to be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine while there will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine as well. The transmission responsibilities are to be handled by a 5-speed manual transmission.
Talking about prices, the Nexon is expected to be priced in the range of INR 6 to 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
