We are all well aware of the fact that Tata Motors is soon going to launch the Nexon sub-compact SUV in the Indian car market this year. The Nexon is to be based on the automaker’s IMPACT design philosophy and hence is to get quite a contemporary exterior profile, the highlights of which were seen at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Their, Tata also gave us a glimpse of what the interiors of the SUV are to look like.
Now ahead of the debut, thanks to Rushlane, the interiors of the upcoming Tata Nexon have been snapped completely undisguised. The images show that the Nexon is to come with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, something which will definitely going to be a first in segment features.
The images also reveal that the Nexon is to get the same, three spoke steering wheel which we see on the Tiago and the Tigor, same is the case with the instrument cluster as well. That said, all the rest of the specifics of the cabin are unique to the Nexon.
Sitting below are neat air-con vents and v-shaped controls for the infotainment system. The cabin seem to adorn a multi-tone colour scheme of black, grey and silver. All in all, the interiors of the Nexon look quite premium and up-market.
The rest of the specifics, like the engine specifications of the of the Nexon are yet to be confirmed. How ever, it is to be believed that the Nexon is to come with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission responsibilities will be taken care of by a 5-speed manual while there is to be an AMT on offer as well.
Talking about the prices, the Tata Nexon is expected to fall in the price bracket of INR 6.5 to 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
