The Honda Amaze, expectedly, has had a big impact on the market already. Toyota responded with the Etios facelift, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Swift DZire ‘Regal’ edition and now Tata Motors, who had recently updated the Manza with new ‘Club Class’ feature-set, has taken the fight to the Honda Amaze by way of new web commercials.
The commercials urge you to compare the Tata Manza against the Honda Amaze. The commercials take you to the Tata Manza homepage, which compares the midrange and top-end VX trims of both the cars respectively. The theme of the comparison is ‘Bigger is better’ and therefore highlights how the Manza has better space and size as compared to the Honda Amaze. It also compares the feature set offered by the ‘Club Class’ upgrade given last year, to the relatively basic feature-set of the Honda Amaze.
Well, since the theme talks about size, we would have liked the Manza to take on someone of its own size – but since price rules the market, the Manza versus Amaze comparison sounds apt to an extent.
