Skoda Octavia received an update in the year 2013 and is up for another mid-life update after next couple of months. After calling several dealers we have confirmed that select Skoda dealerships have actually started receiving bookings for the 2017 Octavia facelift at a token payment of INR 1 lakh. The new Octavia is expected to launch by mid-June and deliveries to commence by the end of the same.

To make things exciting for the Indian consumers, Skoda is also expected to launch the VRs performance variant in India by August, 2017. The pricing of the Octavia facelift is likely to increase in the range of INR 60,000 to 80,000 and will continue to rival Hyundai Elantra, Volkswagen Jetta, Chevrolet Cruze and Corolla Altis.
