Renault Kaptur has now been spied on several occasions in India but this time the interiors have been captured in these spy shots which reveal some information about the interiors. The interiors of the Kaptur which was showcased in Moscow will surely be much more premium than the Duster.
The Renault Kaptur Crossover has been specially developed for the developing countries and the India-based version is larger proportions than the European model. The dimensions of the Kaptur will be 4,333 mm of length, 1813 mm of width, 1613 mm of height and a bigger wheelbase of 2647 mm. The ground clearance is also good enough for wading through undulations at 204 mm.
Coming to the most important part, the interiors of the Kaptur will be upmarket and will have a dual tone dashboard comprising of black and beige finished with piano black finish to the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the center. It comes with navigation, Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity, a digital MID for instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel with integrated controls for audio and telephony and auto climate control. The five seater Kaptur will have 387 litres of boot space which can be increased to a sprawling 1200 by folding the rear row.
The engine department of the Renault Kaptur will be featuring the same 1.5 litre diesel which does duties in the Duster and is available in two states of tuning- 84 bhp and 108 bhp. The competition of the Kaptur will be coming from the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Hyundai Creta and Honda BR-V.
