Porsche India is all set to launch the latest version of their Panamera Turbo later this month and it is going to be a much better package in terms of exterior design, interiors layout along with the engine department as well. The new Porsche Panamera will be the second launch for the German brand which recently brought in the 718 Cayman and 718 Boxter as well.
The new 2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo will be featuring sharper design tweaks which see the addition of new LED headlamps with expanding vision range capabilities and a sharper looking front end. The sides remain similar to the current model while the rear end gets minor tweaks.
The interiors come with a new touchscreen infotainment system and an even classier looking cabin with electrically adjustable leather seats. The Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive is going to have a longer wheelbase against the current model. The safety features include Porsche Traction management, four-wheel steering, active suspension control, adaptive cruise control, lane change assist and performance ceramic brakes.
The engine, on the other hand, is the major highlight as always in a Porsche and this one will be fitted with a new 4.0 litre V8 motor which churns out 542 bhp of max power with 770 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8 speed dual clutch PDK transmission which sends power to all four wheels and allows a 0-100 kmph sprint in a span of 4.2 seconds while the top speed has been rated at 306 kmph. A hybrid variant is also on the cards for the Panamera.
The pricing for the 2017 Porsche Panamera is going to be available in Panamera Turbo and Turbo Executive variants which will be priced around INR 2 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The sports sedan will be competing against the likes of Bentley Flying Spur, Maserati Quattroporte and the Aston Martin Rapide.
