Based on the Triton pick-up, the new 2016 Pajero Sport will feature Mitsubishi's new signature 'Dynamic Shield' front styling, which we have already seen on the new Outlander. The video shows that the SUV gets new projector headlamps with daytime running lamps, LED tail lamp and blackened B and C pillars. The rear quarter window moves upwards from C-Pillar to D-Pillar. Upfront is a new x-shaped chrome grille.
The new 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is expected to share engine specification with the Triton pick-up. Under the hood is a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel, four-cylinder, MIVEC engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 161PS of power and 420Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all-4 wheels of the SUV via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will compete against the likes of the new generation Toyota Fortuner and the new generation Ford Endeavour.
