Mercedes Benz India has now launched the Connoisseur’s Edition of its premium luxury sedan, the S-Class in the Indian car market at a starting price of INR 1.21 crores. This is the 4th launch for the year from the German luxury car manufacturer this year.
In an ongoing effort to improve its products, Mercedes-Benz has also been focusing on the needs of its chauffeur driven customers in India. Mercedes-Benz has been providing an immersive and personalized rear seat experience; given more customers increasingly tend to spend more time in their cars. With the launch of the ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ S-Class, Mercedes-Benz reiterates its brand promise of the ‘best or nothing’.

The S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ offers the following new features: Night View Assist Plus (for the first time in S-Class in India) Only 20% of road traffic is at night-time, but 40% of all fatal accidents occur during this period. Night View Assist Plus enables drivers to detect pedestrians or larger animals sooner in the dark, Executive rear seat behind the front passenger, with thigh support, AIR-BALANCE package including ionization, improved air filtering and fragrance, Burmester Surround Sound System and Energizing Hot Stone Massage. Talking about the prices, the Mercedes Benz S 350 d ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ is priced at INR 1.21 crores and S 400 ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ is priced at INR 1.32 crores (ex-showroom, Pune).
