Luxury cruise liners have been creating new standards for a long time now. But Norwegian Joy, a super-sized cruise ship which has been specifically designed for the Chinese market will be featuring a first of its kind go-kart racing track.
The Norwegian Joy features a two-tier race track on the top of the ship which can accommodate a total of 10 drivers in a single go. The track will be charted upon by electric go-karts which have substantial power available on tap. Thus it is the first time people would be able to drive on a race track set in an ocean.
This Norwegian Joy might be the first ship with some sick innovation up its sleeve but several ships have charted the same territory earlier as well. Earlier, the Royal Caribbean cruise liner went on the same lines and introduced bumper cars on its cruise ship, the Quantum of seas in the year 2014. The bumper car rink also doubled up as a skating rink for the guests.
Ferrari has been known to open up their exclusive tracks and they also opened the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi which is a Ferrari themed amusement park located in the capital of UAE. The amusement park holds the record for the largest space frame structure and has all the thrilling experiences including the turbo track roller coaster which can reach monumental speeds.
