Maruti Suzuki, as known to us already, has lined up 15 new products to be launched in the Indian car market by the year 2020. The automaker has already brought in 8 new products, 4 new products are set to launch in the country, during the next fiscal. The same was confirmed by R S Kalsi, Maruti Suzuki India Executive Director (marketing and sales) to ET Auto, on the sidelines of the ongoing 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The introduction of new products in the Indian market, that too two each year in the past couple of years has been done in order to maintain its strong hold on the Indian car market. Out of the 4 models to arrive in India, two will be new products while the other two are to be refreshed models.
Products which are expected to launch are the next-generation Swift and the Dzire while updates will be provided to the S-Cross and the Ciaz sedan. No official confirmation has been made in this regard. Do Read: 2017 Suzuki Swift Showcased at 2017 Geneva Motor Show
The Swift and the Dzire are to be based upon all new models. The aesthetics as well as features are to be updated. Coming to the facelifts, the S-Cross as well as the Ciaz will feature minor cosmetic updates.
