Lamborghini, the famous Italian Sport car manufacturer will tomorrow launch its Huracan Performante in the Indian car market. Based on the standard Hurcan Performante is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine which is capable of churning out 640Bhp along with 600Nm of peak torque. These figures makes the Performante the most powerful Huracan in the italian automaker’s portfolio.
The Lamborghini Performante, as said by the automaker, has lapped the famous Nurburgring racetrack in just 6 minutes 52 seconds and 1 millisecond. 0 to 100 km/h, with the V10 comes in just 2.9 seconds, with the top speed clocking at 325km/h. The power is transmitted to all the four-wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
As the Huracan Performante is a tad bit more powerful than the standard Hurcan, so does it gets multiple updates. First is a 40kg weight reduction, a massive spoiler at the back. All of this results in a better power to weight ratio.
When launched in India, the Lamborghini Hurcan Performante will compete against the likes of Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari 488 GTB and the McLaren 650 S. Talk about pricing and it is expected that the Performante is expected to fall in the range of INR 4 Cr and above.
