Lamborghini has been taking the Indian market pretty seriously in the last few days and has shown the same intent by launching the savage looking Huracan Performante in India at a price of INR 3.97 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The Lamborghini Huracan Performante was showcased at the 87th Geneva Motor Show and follows its sibling, the Aventador S which was also launched in India.
The Lamborghini Huracan Performante is the sixth iteration of the Huracan and is also the most powerful one of the lot. It is powered by a 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine which is capable of generating 640 bhp of power which is 40 bhp more than standard Huracan along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. All that power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
All those numbers translate into brutal performance which is why it was able to lap up the Nurburgring in 6 minutes, 52 seconds and 1 millisecond, thus becoming the fastest road legal car on the green hell. The Huracan Performante can do the 0-100 kmph sprint in a span of 2.9 seconds while the top speed it can hit is 325 kmph.
The exteriors of the Performante are forged of aluminium and carbon fibre frame which helps it shed almost around 40 kg of extra weight. It gets ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) design philosophy of the company which helps it become faster due to high down force and lower drag. The 20 inch alloy wheels are shod with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires for brilliant performance.
On the inside, it gets Alcantra seats with new digital cockpit which allows shifting through different driving modes which consist of Strada, Sport or Corsa. The cockpit also supports Apple CarPlay with Lamborghini telemetry system to record lap timings on the track.
