As of now the company has not revealed much about the new factory-fitted touchscreen infotainment system, but it is expected to come with features like satellite navigation, audio control and calling functions. The new infotainment system will be available in the new Elite i20 form July onwards.
What truly interesting here is the fact that the updated Elite i20 will go on sale at the same time during the launch of the all-new 2016 Honda Jazz. Apparently the new Honda Jazz will also come with a touchscreen infotainment system, which makes the Jazz and Elite i20 the only two cars in the segment to do so.
Coming to the car itself the Hyundai Elite i20 as mentioned earlier offers some of the best in class features. Hyundai i20 is equipped with other advanced features like, bluetooth connectivity, three spoke steering wheel with audio and bluetooth controls, start stop button, smart key, tilt and Telescopic steering wheel, escort function and auto folding outside rear view mirror (ORVM). Other additional features include Dual airbags, ABS, Smart pedal, Impact sensing door unlock, Rear parking, camera with Steering adaptive parking guide lines and Reverse parking sensors for enhanced convenience.
Under the hood the Hyundai Elite i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa VTVT engine producing 83PS of power and 115Nm of torque, while the diesel version gets a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi motor that is good for 90PS and 220Nm of torque.
