In order to take on the fiercely competitive compact sedan segment, Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the 2017 Dzire in the Indian car market on the 11th of May this year. In its new iteration, the Dzire promises to be a step ahead than its predecessor and also to offer a tough competition for its rivals which include the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, Tata Zest and the Ford Figo Aspire. 2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire
With its new iteration, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is going to come loaded with a host of creature comforts and gadgets on-board. These are to include the likes of multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable ORVMs, driver’s seat height adjust, auto dimming IRVM, key-less entry, engine push start-stop button, rear-defogger, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel among the others.
In terms of safety, the 2017 Dzire is to come equipped with dual-airbags with ABS and EBD as standard.
New Honda Amaze
Starting with Honda Amaze, in terms of comfort and style, the vehicles comes equipped with features like alloy wheels, power steering, front and rear power windows, day and night inside rear-view mirror, multi-functional steering wheel, air conditioning with heating facility, key-less entry, driver seat height adjuster, heat absorbing front windscreen, tilt steering, accessory socket, front and rear cabin light, rear defogger, trunk light, dual-tone seat fabric, cup-holders and vanity mirror on the passenger side.
In term of connectivity and infotainment, the Amaze gets a 15.7 inch touch screen multimedia system which also doubles up as the display for the navigation system with Bluetooth, AUX-In and USB connectivity. On the safety front, the Amaze gets dual-front airbags along with ABS and EBD.
2017 Hyundai Xcent
The Hyundai Xcent, in terms of comfort and style comes equipped with alloy wheels, central locking, front and rear power windows, electric power steering, electro-chromic inside rear-view mirror, multi-functional steering wheel, key-less entry, ambient cabin illumination, rear-seat centre armrest with cup-holder, front and rear cabin lamps, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, automatic climate control, cooled glove box, rear air-con vents, front and rear power outlets, passenger side vanity mirror, push-button start and stop, driver seat height adjuster, driver seat-belt warning, tilt adjustable steering wheel and luggage lamp.
In terms of connectivity and infotainment, the Xcent gets a standard 2-din multimedia system with Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity with 1GB of internal storage memory. For safety we have dual-front airbags, ABS as standard across the range and rear parking sensors with camera.
The Tata Zest boasts of certain comfort and styling features which are exclusive to this vehicle like the projector headlamps with LED rings, LED daytime running lights and LED taillights. Also there is central locking, front and rear power windows, alloy wheels, dual-tone interiors, electric power steering, automatic climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, passenger vanity mirror, day and night inside rear view mirror, front and rear fog-lamps, rear defogger, boot lamp, gear-change indicator, door ajar warning, key reminder warning, height adjustable driver seat, tilt adjustable steering wheel and key-ring illumination.
On the front of connectivity and infotainment, the Zest gets a 5 inch touch screen multimedia system which is loaded with Tata’s ConnectNext technology, enabling it to offer features like voice command, mobile connectivity through Bluetooth and also doubles up as the display for the smartphone enabled navigation system. There is a remote control also available for the convenience of the rear passengers.

Ford Figo Aspire

For connectivity and infotainment, the Figo Aspire gets a multi-functional touch screen display enabled with Ford’s SYNC voice control system. Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity along with 4 speakers on board.
For safety, the Figo Aspire gets a segment first dual front plus four curtain airbags. Along with this there is ABS and EBD, rear parking sensors, hill-start assist and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
