The Honda Amaze sub-compact sedan has been one of the bestselling cars to come from the stables of Honda in India. Now the company has revealed that the sub-compact sedan has crossed a sales milestone of over 2 lakh units in India since its launch. The Honda Amaze was launched in Indian in April 2013 and marked Honda Cars India’s entry in the diesel segment. Honda Amaze has received great success for both the variants in India and this further reiterates the car’s acceptance in the Indian automotive market. Honda recently replaced the aging Amaze compact sedan with a new facelift in March 2016. The new car comes with host of exterior and interior updates that keeps things fresh. The 2016 Honda Amaze comes equipped with an optional CVT automatic transmission and is the first car in the segment to come with a CVT transmission on the petrol variant. The new 2016 Honda Amaze front facia features bold and wide stance while the car gets a redesigned front bumper along with dual chrome front grille. The car also sports new classy combination lights at the rear that further accentuates the exterior design of the car. On the side, the car continues to remain the same as that of the previous model.
The 2016 Honda Amaze sports all new cabin along with a new dashboard layout as well as interiors. The car gets all-new dual tone instrument cluster with silver accents and new 3D speedometer design with MID display. The 2016 Honda Amaze is available in four trim levels across both petrol and diesel variants that includes E, S, SX and VX. The CVT automatic transmission is available only in the petrol variant in the S and VX trim levels. The New Honda Amaze is available in seven color options that include the new Bluish Titanium Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White, Golden Brown Metallic and Orchid White Pearl.
