During the recent Grand Prix Weekend in Italy, Force India team noticed that one of the steering wheels was missing from their garage. The team immediately notified the Italian Police and lodged a complaint for the missing part, which evidently costs around EUR 100,000.
Confirming the report, Force India team's spokesperson informed Motorsport.com, saying, “A steering wheel was stolen from the garage on Saturday night and the police are investigating the case.”
As for its performance at the Italian Gran Prix this weekend, Force India took the sixth place after team Lotus moved ahead of them at the Belgian GP. However, the Silverstone-based F1 team hit back strongly at Monza, Italy by scoring 14 points thanks to Force India drivers Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg. On the other hand time team Lotus had to leave the track empty handed after their defeat.
