BMW 7 Series was always synonymous with elegance and royal treatment. But the German manufacturer has launched the most powerful BMW ever and will now be available in two variants which include the Standard and V12 Excellence which has been priced at INR 2.27 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new BMW 760Li is the most powerful BMW ever and is the first time the 7 Series limo has received the M performance treatment. It comes with a V12 and BMW’s signature xDrive system which means AWD (All wheel drive) system is standard.
The outer cosmetic enhancements of the BMW M760Li are in line with the other M performance models sold by them in India. It gets M V12 badging on the front quarter panel, alloy wheels and rear end. The front end still comprises of regular kidney bean grille shape, there is chrome treatment on the air fenders, 20 inch W Spoke 646 BMW Individual alloy wheels. BMW will also offer an optional M rear spoiler with cerium grey finish on the quad exhaust setup.
Inside, it will get V12 logos, Alcantara seats with wooden inserts around seats belt outlets, armrests and roof handles along with the leather steering wheel. Even the driver’s footrest and accelerator pedal comes with M insignia while the instrument cluster gets an extended speed of 330 kmph in its dial.
But the most important component worth mentioning is the 6.6 litre M-Performance TwinPower Turbo V12 petrol engine that churns out 610 bhp @ 5500 rpm along with a torque of 800 Nm @ 1500 rpm. All this power is sent to the wheels via the 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which allows this more than two tonne of mass to propel to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed od the M760Li is limited to 250 kmph while the M Driver’s package can take it to 305 kmph.
