BMW India has brought the new 330i petrol in its Sportline edition to the Indian shores. The company didn’t hold any launch event to introduce the new 330i Petrol in India but has added the model to BMW’s official Indian website. Earlier, BMW had discontinued 330i and replaced it with the 320i.
BMW 3 Series is now available in a choice of two variants which include the Sport Line and the much more meaner M Sport version. The pricing of the 3 Series starts from 42.4 lakh whereas the 320i M Sport is priced at INR 44.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
BMW 330i is being powered by a 2.0 litre, 4 pot, Twin-Power petrol engine which develops 248 bhp @ 5200 rpm along with a peak torque output of 350 Nm @ 1450- 4800 rpm. The gem of a motor is mated to the tried and tested 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which helps in precise and quick shifts while delivering an impressive mileage of 16.05 kmpl . In terms of features it will be coming with a host of LED units for headlamps which come with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED turn indicators and LED taillights. It features the 8.7 inch BMW touchscreen infotainment system with iDrive feature. The safety features include ABS with EBD, 6- airbags, Brake Assist, Dynamic stability control, rear parking camera, dynamic traction control and ISOFIX mounts.
On offer will be a choice of three colours for the 330i Sportline which comprise of Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Mediterranean Blue. The M Sport version is only available in Alpine White and Black Sapphire shade.
