Bentley, British Luxury carmaker launched the much awaited Bentayga, the fastest SUV in the world on 22nd April, 2016 for the Indian market at a price tag of INR 3.85 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). Moreover, the super luxury carmaker Bentley anticipate to cross 100 units a year mark by 2017 for the bullish Indian market. The company and the dealers are very much confident about the growth and expect to continue the same momentum this year as well. Mr. Satya Bagla, Exclusive Motors Managing Director said that, “We have been growing at 15 per cent every year and our total sales this year will be in high double digits and we hope to cross the three digits mark in 2017.”
He further confirmed bookings in three digits by stating, “It is about finding the right people to sell to. Our main problem today is meeting demand,” Bagla said, adding that already the latest SUV Bentayga, priced at Rs 3.85 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards.
This year company is aiming for 2600 – 2700 units for recently launched Bentayga globally followed by a target of 3000 units per year. In the year 2015, Bentley manufactured about 10,001 units for its luxury cars for the global markets that is expected to increase by 15 percent across all the markets. Bentley produces its luxury line up at Crewe facility in the UK, ships the manufactured units to the global markets.
He further added that, “There is competition for allocation of cars among the 200 dealers globally in 55 markets.” Satya Bagla further mentioned about Indian market which is currently growing and aggressive for Automotive space with ample of opportunities. Moreover, Bentley is initiated the setup for its new service facility in Hyderabad that is expected to be opened in next two months. This will add to the company's existing outlets in cities such as Delhi and Mumbai.
