Mercedes-Benz is setting up the stage at the Airbus A380 Delivery Centre in Hamburg, Germany, for the world premiere of the all-new 2014 S-Class. After months of spy shots and rendered images, the 2014 S-Class will be finally shown in all its glory tomorrow i.e. May 15.
Commenting on tomorrow’s event to showcase the all-new S-Class, Joachim Schmidt, Member of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Sales & Marketing, said, “The new S-Class is the epitome of a modern luxury sedan and Hamburg is the perfect place to showcase it to the world. The port of Hamburg is a symbol of Germany's export strength and success of German products around the world. In addition, it has developed into the most important European hub for trade with China – the main market for the new S-class. ”
While we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what Mercedes has in stores for us, what’s certain is that the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be offered with at least 3 engine choices – a 260PS, 3-liter V6 diesel engine, a 450PS 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine and a 3.5-litre V6 petrol hybrid. All the three engines will come mated to Mercedes’ 7G-Tronic Plus automatic gearbox
