MercedesBenz C-class that is being sold in the Indian market was unveiled almost around 3 years ago but is still doing great in all the markets that it is available in. But the competition has been bringing facelift after facelift and even new models which leaves no choice for Merc but to bring atleast a facelift to its succesful sedan.
So an online Mercedes Benz centric blog named ‘MBPassion.de’ has snapped up the interiors picture of the new Mercedes C-Class facelift which will be unveiled some time late in this year. This unit will be coming after 3 years as the current model was showcased by Mercedes Benz in 2014.
As visible in these pictures, the steering wheel will be very similar to the new S-Class saloon whereas the other bits of dashboard will retain the same high quality material as expected from a Mercedes. The model pictured looks like a base trim as the amount of blingy chrome is nowhere near what we are used to seeing in the top of the line C-Class. Although the steering wheel is loaded with buttons and comes with cruise control, COMAND infotainment handling mini touchpads and toggle switches.
As always there is going to be ahuge range of customisation choices for upholstery and a fully digital instrument cluster on board. Seats are likely to be fully adjustable with memory function. On the outside, the LED headlamps will be bearing resemblance to the E-Class whereas the overall design derives lot of inspiration from the S-Class.
Engine department will be handled by the current range of turbocharged petrol engines along with OM654 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
