The move to launch a petrol variant of an SUV which has so far been available only with a diesel engine, is because of the demand for the same as the norms against big diesel engines tightens.
Various automaker, which include the likes of Mercedes Benz and BMW have too started to opt for petrol variants or their regular diesel driven vehicles.
