The day has finally arrived, Hyundai Motor India will today launch the much anticipated 2017 avatar of its compact sedan, the Xcent in the Indian car market. With this update, the Xcent now comes with a revamped exterior profile while there have also been a number of additions done to its cabin as well.
The 2017 Hyundai Xcent comes with a restyled front facia, the highlight of which is the new and much more aggressive looking front bumper. The hexagonal grille has been reworked as well and now adorns dominating chrome highlights. The fog-lamps are now circular in shape, sitting above them are new LED DRLs.
The side profile of this compact sedan remain identical to the earlier model, however, the 2017 Xcent now comes with new alloy wheels. Talking about the interiors, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent will sport an exact same layout as that of the model that it replaces. The dashboard colour tone will be dual-tone, of black and beige. The upholstery is to be primarily black in nature. In terms of features, the facelifted Xcent is to come with a new touchscreen multimedia system which offers Apple Car Play and Android Auto Connectivity. Now to the engine specifications of the 2017 Hyundai Xcent, the petrol derivative will continue to be the 1.2-litre unit producing 82Bhp along with 114Nm of peak torque. This motor will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. There will be a 4-speed automatic on offer as well.

Talking about prices, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift is expected to retail at a starting price of INR 5.5 lakh with the top of the line model likely to cost INR 8.5 lakh to own.
