Hyundai has today launched the Grand i10 facelift in India at a starting price of INR 4.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this facelift, the Grand i10 gets a revamped front and back facia along with an increased lift of features and the introduction of a new diesel engine to its existing powertrain line-up.
Talking about the aesthetic changes first, the Grand i10 facelift gets a new Hyundai Cascade design grille up-front along with a redesigned front and rear bumper, newely design fog-lamps, new alloy wheels, LED DRLs and restyled air curtains for improved aerodynamic stability. In the feature department, the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift comes with a new 7-icnh touchscreen multimedia display which offers connectivity through Apple Car Play, Android Auto and Mirror Link also along with voice command feature. Also included in the list is a rear-view parking camera with the display on the infotainment screen along with rear air-con vents. Apart from the introduction of these new features, the interior design of the Grand i10 facelift remains similar to the model that it is going to replace. The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 facelift, in the engine department, gets a new 1.2-litre diesel engine which is capable of churning out 73bhp along with 190Nm of peak torque. It replaces the existing 1.1-litre unit which was good for 71Bhp along with 159Nm of peak torque.
The petrol engine remains the same and is continued to be powered by a 1.2-litre unit which produces 82Bhp along with 113Nm of peak torque. The transmission responsibilities continued to be handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox while there will be a 4-speed automatic unit on offer as well.
The prices for the petrol 2017 Hyundai Grand Facelift starts at INR 4.58 lakh and goes up to INR 6.39 lakh for the top of the line variant. On the other hand, the prices for the base diesel trim of this hatchback start at INR 5.68 lakh and goes up to INR 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)for the top spec version.
