Looks like Hyundai India in the near future will be launching the updated 2017 version of its popular compact SUV, the Creta in the Indian car market. Ahead of its anticipated debut, the brochure of the same has been leaked online, curtsey Team BHP, which reveals what all new features the Creta is to come with its latest avatar.
Going by the information released, the 2017 Hyundai Creta is to come with an updated 7-icnh infotainment system which now is to come equipped with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The same is to be offered in a total of 8 trims of which the S+, SX+, SX+ DualTone and SX(O) is to come with Arkamys Sound System as standard.
Also apart from these, the SX+ trim will be offered in a dual-tone colour scheme of Phantom Black roof with the body colour either being chosen from the Polar White of Red Passion colour. Do Read: Creta takes Hyundai to a 4 percent increase in its domestic sales for the month of February 2017.
The engine specifications of the 2017 Hyundai Creta are to remain the same as before. The petrol derivative will be powered by a 1.6-litre VTVT motor producing 120bhp along with 154Nm of peak torque. The same will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The diesel derivative on the other hand gets a 1.4-litre diesel engine producing 88Bhp along with 224Nm of peak torque. There will also be the 1.6-litre CRDi unit producing 124Bhp along with 265Nm of peak torque. It is also to get a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.6-litre petrol and the 1.6-litre diesel, both will continue to be offered with an automatic gearbox as well.
Talking about prices, they are likely to continue to fall in the range of INR 9.2 to 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
