Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has silently launched the HF Deluxe i3s entry-level commuter in India. With this, the new Hero HF Deluxe i3s now sits at the top of the company’s HF commuter range. The motorcycle has been priced at INR 46,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Hero HF Deluxe i3s continues to draw its power from the same 97.2cc engine that runs the other HF models. The carbureted mill develops a maximum power output of 8.24 bhp along with a peak torque of 8.05 Nm. The engine is now BS-IV compliant which will now result in a slightly better fuel economy and lesser emissions.
The suspension system of the motorcycle comprises of conventional telescopic forks up front while the rear end has been assisted with twin shock absorbers. The braking duties are handled with the help of a 130mm drum brake up at the front that comes paired to a 110mm unit at the rear.
As already mentioned, the Hero HF Deluxe i3s has been assisted with the company’s iSmart technology for fuel saving. Under this, the engine of the motorcycle automatically gets shut down when left at idle and the gearbox is engaged in neutral for 5 seconds. The Hero HF Deluxe i3s now receives new attractive graphics and dual tone multiple colour options of Black-Blue, Black-Purple and Black-Red. Other added feature include Automatic Headlamp ON (AHO) Facility. Also Read: Hero MotoCorp to launch six new bikes and scooters in the current fiscal
