The year 2013 is a very important year for the German carmaker Porsche. The 911 just completed 50 years of existence on the planet, the 911 Turbo finished 30 years, a radical supercar 918 Spyder is launched and preparations for a LeMans return are underway.
But in addition to all that, here's something that Porsche has brought for its fans. If you are a car enthusiast, chances are very slim that you haven't watched actor and race-driver Steve McQueen's movie 'Le Mans'. Also, it's hugely unlikely that you don't know about Porsche's deep relation with the circuit, the 24-hour race and the movie. Bringing everything together, Porsche has released its latest range of apparel, called Porsche Driver's Selection Steve McQueen collection.
To celebrate the comeback it's going to make at Le Mans 2014, Porsche has launched the collection. It consists of things like racing jacket, polo shirts, t-shirts and a baseball cap, all created in collaboration with Steve McQueen's son, Chad McQueen and automotive artist Nicolas Hunziker.
The T-shirt says 'Steve McQueen drives Porsche'. Well what could be better than that! The range isn't yet available in the country but can be ordered at Porsche centers soon. Pricing too isn't out yet.
