MV Agusta – the exotic Italian bike manufacturer will soon be launching its two bikes in India namely Turismo Veloce and Brutale Dragster. The exact launch date of these motorcycles is under wraps at the moment but these will reportedly arrive in the next few months. Before that, the company has plans to launch the MV Agusta Brutale 800 in India sometime by March 2017. With this, the bike maker is all set to expand its product portfolio for the Indian market, means more premium options for the buyers in future.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce and the Brutale Dragster draw their power from a 798cc, inline three-cylinder engine that has been linked to a six-speed transmission system. However, the power and torque outputs are different in the two to meet the individual characteristics for respective bikes. The engine in the MV Agusta Brutale Dragster cranks out a maximum power of 123 bhp along with a peak torque of 81 Nm. On the other hand, the motor in the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce produces a maximum power of 108 bhp while the peak torque figure stands at 80 Nm.
Coming to the price, the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce will likely come at a price of over INR 20 lakh while the Brutale Dragster will set you back by almost INR 18 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). These two motorcycles will be assembled at the company’s Ahmednagar factory. Once launched, the prospective buyers can purchase these motorcycles from the Kinetic – MV Agusta's Motoroyale outlets.
