The exotic Italian bike manufacturer MV Agusta has recently teased a new motorcycle in its latest teaser video. The 38 second long footage shows the letters RVS getting engraved on an aluminium lump. The video ends up with the silhoutte of a bike that is seen fitted with dual purpose tyres. The rear end of this motorcycle seems to have taken its inspiration from the Dragster 800 model. This brings in the possibility that MV Agusta might launch the Scrambler version of the Dragster 800 anytime soon.
The alphabets RVS in the teaser video stand for ‘Reparto Veicoli Speciali’ that translates to Special Vehicle Department. Seeing the design language of this upcoming motorcycle, while a Scrambler model is likely to come, a special edition Dragster 800 can also be on cards. This becomes further concrete by the fact that MV Agusta had earlier confirmed that their focus will now be on limited edition models.
Here is the teaser video:
The MV Agusta Dragster 800 draws its power from a 798cc, three cylinder engine that comes mated to a cassette type six-speed transmission. The fuel injected motor cranks out a maximum power output of 140 bhp while the peak torque figure rests at 86 Nm. Also Read: MV Agusta Turismo Veloce, Brutale Dragster India Launch Soon
