Kawasaki India has launched its enthralling litre-class sportsbike Ninja ZX-10RR in India today at a price of INR 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The motorcycle comes as a limited edition model and only 500 units of this motorcycle have been made. The 2017 Ninja ZX-10RR was first introduced at the 2016 Intermot show in October 2016. The new Ninja ZX-10RR has been launched in a single colour option only viz the Special Winter edition livery. The all-new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is over INR 2 lakh costlier than the standard ZX-10R.
The new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is powered by a 998cc, inline four cylinder engine, mated to a six-speed transmission system. The fuel injected motor produces a maximum power output of 197 bhp while the peak torque stands at an impressive 114 Nm. Besides, other features on the new Ninja ZX-10RR include a five mode traction control system for added safety under harsh riding conditions. For those not in the know, the standard Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is the first litre-class superbike in the world that meets Euro-IV emission norms.
The new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZR-10RR comes with the latest bells and whistles like a quickshifter, a six-axis Inertia Measurement Unit (IMU) along with intelligent anti-lock braking system, cornering management system and an advanced engine braking system. The upcoming 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR further comes shod with Marchesini lighter wheels that offer better acceleration & improved braking characteristics to this motorcycle.
