Harley-Davidson India has finally launched the Street Rod 750 in India at a price of INR 5.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle had appeared a few days back at the company’s official website for India. The new Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 shares the same underpinnings as the Street 750 except for a new changes in visuals along with a bump in engine performance figures. The new 2017 Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 is available for sale in three colours namely Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold.
The new 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 draws its power from a high output Revolution X 750, V-twin engine. This motor cranks out 18 percent more power along with 8 percent more torque than the standard Street 750 model. The engine in the regular Street 750 motorcycle churns out a maximum torque of 59 Nm while in the Street Rod 750, this figure has risen to 62 Nm.
The 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 gets its braking done with the help of dual disc brakes up front along with a single disc brake towards the rear. ABS comes as a standard fitment. Other features of the new Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 include LED tail lamp & turning winkers and a 3.5 inch electronic speedometer.
